Renovation of a seven bedroom home created by adjoining duplexes and included extensive remodeling throughout. This home was completed in 2019 for Housing for New Hope, a non-profit in Durham, NC whose mission is ending homelessness in that area. The home was built to house six women in need who pay a reduced rent and live in the well-appointed home together, along with a live-in housing manager. Chelsea worked closely with a talented architect, a local Durham builder, and the Housing for New Hope team. Chelsea selected all of the interior finishes, fixtures, furnishings and decor. This was a full-service project and 100% of the interior design services were donated by Chelsea Benay, LLC.
