Our Poplar Ridge Remodel was one for the books! We thoroughly enjoyed transforming the key areas of this home from a dark and heavy mountain house into a bright, warm and modern space. 'Before & Afters' are always so fun to share!
When we initially met with our clients to review their project goals, they were wanting to make their home feel brighter, more streamlined and contemporary. We recommended painting the dark stained trim and interior doors throughout the home to match the wall color, and let the existing rustic ceiling beams and posts stand out to make a more effective statement. The existing stonework remained, and the existing stone masonry, combined with the rustic beams, infused the newly remodeled Kitchen, Primary Bath, and Main Living Area with warmth and character. The interplay of the more rustic elements with the clean lines of the new cabinetry and fixtures sets this home apart. The GC on this project, McKenzie Dillingham of M.G. Dillingham , was so wonderful to work with and did an excellent job executing our design vision. We also collaborated with Keystone Kitchen & Bath on the cabinetry and always enjoy working with Schuyler there.
